Sugar addictions can be both physiological and psychological. A full evaluation would be necessary to determine what is contributing to this problem for you. It could be anxiety, decreased serotonine levels, a specific vitamin or mineral deficiency or a host of other things. Magnesium deficiency has been linked to sugar cravings and often disappears after magnesium levels are brought up to normal limits. You might want to use a magnesium supplement to raise your levels.
