How to avoid Kidney Failure?

Matheus Martins -

To avoid kidney failure stay away from all fluoride, in foods and water.   The use of a number of supplements proves benficial in preventing kidney and heart problems.  These include COq10, L-Arginine, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Iodine in addition to the Magnesium depending on the severity of kidney disease.  Magnesium is contraindicated if renal disease is severe as it can lead to lack of excretion of excess magnesium and build up in toxicity.   Kidney Failure/Renal disease  should be a separate category of disease.

Research has shown that in kidney diseasee this about 650 mg.taken orally 2-3 times per day is helpful but does not guarantee restoration of his kidney function at this point in time.

Clinical trials are underway to determine who will benefit. So far this has been shown to improve nutritional status of people with chronic kidney disease and slows the progression toward End Stage Kidney disease at which point generally dialysis or transplant or both are recommended.

The doses used in the research were 600-650mg. which is equal to 1/8 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in water or one capsule of sodium bicarbonate two or three times per day. It has slowed the progression of kidney disease, mainly in people who have difficulty excreting acids and are in metabolic acidosis. Chronic metabolic acidosis in patients with chronic kidney disease develops after a drop of glomerular filtration rate to less than approximately 25 mL/min/1.73 m2.

So if your glomerular filtration rate has dropped you may well benefit from using sodium bicarbonate daily.

Cold hands and feet and swollen legs and feet? Are these signs of a kidney issue? Or is it gaul bladder or liver?

So are you saying that if you have kidney disease it is separate from the solution above? My husband is on the transplant list and trying not to start dialysis. Any suggestions?
